Taking Networking to New Heights at Rooftops & Retail
Over 100 guests. 360 rooftop views. One incredible evening in Tampa Heights. And when the right people gather in the right place, opportunity flows.
That was the drive behind our vision for Retail & Rooftops, a high-energy industry mixer hosted on the rooftop at 7th & Oak, Tampa Heights’ newest mixed-use community. The turnout of this event proved just how strong the demand is for meaningful connection and conversations within Tampa’s commercial and retail community.
Just one month ago, more than 100 brokers, tenant representatives, retailers, and industry partners came together for an evening of networking, 360 views of Tampa, and a firsthand look at one of the most exciting retail opportunities emerging in Tampa Heights on the ground-floor of the community.
Built for Connection, Designed for Opportunity
The delivery of 7th & Oak comes nearly a decade after neighboring mixed-use community, The Pearl, opened their doors to residents and retailers. This event brought an intentional audience together to showcase a prime retail opportunity while strengthening relationships across Tampa’s commercial and retail development community.
The evening provided a platform for brokers, retailers, and partners to explore the remaining retail space positioned for a future full-service restaurant concept—an opportunity that could play a defining role in shaping the next chapter of the neighborhood.
As Tampa Heights continues to evolve with upcoming developments on the forefront, like the 6-acre YMCA redevelopment just around the corner, the right tenant won’t simply occupy a space. They’ll help activate a destination.
A Firsthand Look at the Opportunity
With 360 rooftop views and private tours, guests were able to experience the property from every angle. AXB Drone Solutions captured stunning aerial perspectives that highlight the site’s strong visibility, surrounding corridor activity, and strategic positioning within one of Tampa’s fastest-growing neighborhoods.
AXB also caught some hard-to-miss highlights of the evening like the vibrant networking, sunset views, and the energy of the evening.
Additional real estate coverage was captured by Media Active Inc., further promoting the opportunities available at the site.
For those who couldn’t attend, the highlight reels and drone footage offer a glimpse into both the event and the retail opportunity itself.
An Industry Night to Remember
Retail & Rooftops wasn’t just about showcasing space. It was about building momentum, fostering community, and bringing people together around the opportunity in Tampa Heights.
A special highlight of the evening was the live art experience by local artist Mark Anthony, who painted a skyline piece during the event. As someone deeply connected to the city and the Tampa Heights community, his presence added an authentic, creative layer to the event. The finished artwork was raffled off to one lucky guest, with congratulations going to Amanda Boli of AiC for taking home the piece.
Special touches and elements like these helped transform the event from a traditional property tour into a memorable industry gathering.
Powered by Community
Retail & Rooftops would not have been possible without the support of the sponsors and partners who helped fuel the experience:

Their partnership helped create an atmosphere that was both welcoming and impactful for everyone in attendance.
Continuing the Conversation
Events like Retail & Rooftops create an impact that goes beyond one evening. Events like this spark and build lasting connections that move projects, partnerships, and communities forward.
To keep that momentum going, an industry happy hour, Delights in the Heights, is scheduled for April 14th at Hidden Springs Ale Works offering another opportunity for professionals across development, construction, and brokerage to reconnect and continue the conversation around the excitement within Tampa Heights.
For those interested in learning more about the retail opportunity at 7th & Oak or touring the space, the door is still open. Be sure to reach out to Hannah Lynn at the Archer Group.
Because when the right concept lands in the right place, it doesn’t just fill a vacancy—it helps define a neighborhood.
